Art Statement
Photography is both an impassioned pursuit and simply my normal way of existing in the world. Taking photographs is how I connect with, interpret and understand the world around me. No matter if my surroundings are mundane or monumental, I am photographing them. In my work, I hope others see beauty and find tranquility: with a busy world that’s sometimes hard to understand, I hope my photographs provide a moment of respite, a light of understanding, and a point of connection between the viewer and the natural world, and between the viewer and the viewer’s deeper self.
